Newly-redecorated Church of the Silver Flame

Just curious.

I am pretty sure that if I was the decorator in charge of the new Church of the Silver Flame building, I’d have gone for (ahem) silver flames.

Why are the flames blue?
Architecture disconnect?
Are they color blind?

  1. Blue is kind of silver…right? Probably the closet color in the visible color spectrum and still set it apart from white. Not to mention it’s probably easier than actually trying to use silver for rendering flames.

    …but I wasn’t going to mention that…

  2. It is silver, you just don’t have enough favor to see it properly…

  3. It probably has something to do with why Yellow moving vans are orange.

  4. Too many cows in the church. All that methane…

  5. it’s the demon in the flame that turns it blue

What do you think?
