Over on the forums, people are playing a game called “Where Am I?”, where someone posts a screenshot and people try to guess where it was taken.

Most of them are fairly easy to guess; some are instantly obvious. But not all, people have posted some rather obscure locations in an attempt to befuddle each other. I won’t pretend I’ve seen them all, I don’t follow the thread closely and it has over 1100 replies.

But I am fairly confident that none are quite like this. I like to think of this as the Advanced Version of Where Am I.

Where Am I?

No photoshop tricks here, I performed no no enlargement or cropping, the only editing I did to the picture was with Mawry herself when I was positioning her in order to take the screenshot. You can click it to see the original size, if you think that might be helpful.

So … where am I? Where was this taken?

No prize for the winner, other than the admiration of the masses, and of course, the rush of testosterone one gets from being The Winner.

Ready, Set, Guess!

  1. I really want to say the Inspiration Center but, honestly, I’m not 100% sure…..

  2. Playing “Hide the Pointy End” with the Lord of Blades in the Creation Forge.

  3. Monastery of the Scorpion?

  4. I had a couple of thoughts, but now I’ve changed my mind, I’m bad enough at hide & seek in the harbour…

  5. Hmm.. You’re behind Mawry, zoomed in like crazy on her armor texture!

  6. Hmmm… that one Ataraxia quest with the scrags?

… and how am I supposed to figure out where *you* are when most of the time I can’t even figure out where *I* am?

  7. (Also, I sincerely hope that, in the unlikely event I’m the winner, I do NOT experience a rush of testosterone.) πŸ˜‰

  8. Rainbow in the Dark!!

  9. I posted a couple of hints here: http://www.gamergeoff.com/hints/

  10. DAMMIT I’VE SEEN THAT.

    THINK, brain, THINK!

What do you think?
