It may not look like it, but this place is loaded with endgame loot

I have 17 active characters on my main server, thirteen of which are actively played. Ten of them are or have been Epic. If this seems like a lot, it is! I could have the greatest character ever if I focused on only one. But no, I spread the love around, and instead of one truly great character I have ten moderately adequate ones.

This has made me something of an expert on equipping said characters; not because I know so much about equipment but because I have to do it so often.

You would think that Patrick would know better by now, but for whatever reason he keeps inviting me back to DDOCast. This time it was to talk about Update 23, and we did, although I suspect we spent almost as much time (maybe more?) on game news and the upcoming changes to Healing Amplification.

Lots of information, lots of opinions, a little bit of fun. And I even got my screen facing the right direction. Eventually.

For whatever else Update 23 brought us (and it brought us a lot!) it also brought us a pretty large number of new bugs. Or in some cases, maybe old bugs, back again? Not sure, but I am pretty confident that it was mainly new ones.

Never fear, in record time they are back with a patch. Check out the fixes:

Continuing DDOGamer’s look at all things Update 23-ish, today we demonstrate the new DDO Store feature “Mirror of Glamering”.

The Mirror does not drop in chests (Boo! They promised that everything in the store would drop in chests too! I remember!). It is a one-use clicky that creates a cosmetic version of whatever you put into it. Armor, hat or goggles, weapon or shield. Any of them. Named, random loot generation, whatever, just drop it in and create a cosmetic version.
