I’m trying to find a way to track each of the blog posts. Partly to find out what is working, but I have to admit that it is at least partly because I am an analyst and that is not something one can just turn on and off.

I need stuffs to analyze!

Not finding anything yet in the Turbine-provided tools, I’m going to experiment with external tools.

Like this one: –>
web site statistics

It is definitely simple enough to use, I just copied some HTML from the vendor site and slapped it in the blog post. In case anyone is curious the vendor is GoStats, whoever that is.

If it pans out I’ll have it in each post and on each page. Ooooohhh lots of stuffs to analyze!

  1. So? Does it work?
I have an old stat tracker account. Could be neat to see if it works here.

  2. More or less.

It looks like it will be a great way to track visits to your overall blog. I’m not yet sure it will also help track individual posts or pages.

  3. That’s a good idea. I might have a look into stats as well. Great thinking!

What do you think?
