The first-ever DDOGamer video blog!
But you should probably watch it anyway

Thanks to everyone who entered in the Win the Last(?) Winter Wolf Pup contest! Twenty four entries, which is at least 12 times as many people as I would have thought read this blog!

One winner, and then a surprise second winner! Probably. As in, someone was definitely selected to be the second winner, but we are not sure that they are actually getting a valid prize. If this sounds strange, that’s because it is, details are in the video.

Here are the winning haiku:

First winner

Alas, I must pine
my creativity is
in quite short supply.

Second “probable” winner

An old tired dog-
To Kruz he does speak,
Burns! Young pup again.

Congratulations to the winner(s), and thank you all for participating. It was a lot of fun, the kind of thing I’d like to do again in the future.

Congratulations to you both!

So much fun.

  1. I dont know if the video blog was good or not but i enjoyed it.

  2. Nice video. πŸ™‚

  3. Very nice. Guess everyone has their own way of rolling – my PnP buddies would have rolled a 1d6 and 1d12 together. The d6 determines if the d12 was “high” or “low” (1-3 indicates numbers 1-12, while 4-6 indicates 13-24). Congratz to the winners and a “thanks” to you for even doing something like this. *tips hat*

  4. Grats on your first video and grarts to the winners.

  5. @comic I should have rolled 1d4 and d6 πŸ™‚ I just like trying to find uses for the poor neglected d12s of the world.

  6. Thank you for the Winter Wolf Pup! I just redeemed the code successfully.

Now to decide who it goes with and what to name it (haven’t even decided the gender yet).

The video was pretty good (not a connoisseur of video blogs to be judging).

Maybe you could have flipped a coin and then rolled the d12. My PnP group was known to flip anything round and flat when in a rush (I don’t recommend ceramic coasters though).

What do you think?
