Yes, we know who has won the last copy of the Stormreach Campaign. And by we I mean me.

You on the other hand, you have to watch a video to see who it might be.

Oh, I’ll probably relent and just add the winner’s name to this post sometime tomorrow, but for now, you must watch.

Because I said so.

Congratulations to the winner!

  1. Even though we did not win, Gamer child enjoyed watching and listening to you talk from her hospital bed.

  2. Congrats to the winner!

I’m surprised someone didn’t enter more than 13 times ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Congratulations to [REDACTED]!! Hope you have many, many years of enjoyment out of it!

Thank you, Jeff, for holding this contest and allowing all of us that entered a chance at receiving such a wondrous prize!

  4. Congratulations to the winner.

    Geoff,
my name was not in the spreadsheet. What I did wrong?

    • I noticed some things too, but it wouldn’t have helped us win ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • You are right Duvok your name was not in the list. And it still isn’t: I just double-checked the WordPress comments and you still do not show. Yet, when I look at the actual article, there you are, twice in fact.

It appears that 13 people entered comments correctly but were not counted in the contest (not you Bob, your comment and both of your haiku were all on the list). Some of these folk had haiku entries, but not all, and even if they did their comment entry was skipped.

I am not sure what I am going to do about this, I’ll think about it over the weekend. But I wanted to confirm right away that indeed you were not on the list, and you should have been. And that I will find a way to make it right.

Apologies to you and all the others ๐Ÿ™

      • I think the most fair thing to do would be to reroll including them. Which I hate to say, but… it feels wrong to have almost a tenth (or more than?) of the entries not counting.

So as the winner, I hereby give you permission to do it over.

      • Oh, I didn’t mean me, I’m also pretty sure a reroll at this point would be silly ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Bob is right. A re-roll will be silly. I am working on an idea to compensate those who were left out. But it has no effect on you or what has happened already.

Enjoy your prize Kevin you won it fairly.

          • Geoff,

I agree that the winner must keep the great premium, he deserves it and there is no point in reroll now. I just ask you to be sure that my inspired (lol) haiku is in the GIF, I couldn’t see it there as well. Thanks for this funny contest.

          • Must remember to save a copy of that gif!

  5. …Wow, I’m glad my duplicated entry didn’t win, I’d’ve felt awful and wanted to suggest a reroll. That one was totally unintentional, I swear!

Also: It’s a *rarity* to find somebody who doesn’t mangle the pronunciation of my name, so kudos! (I used to say “it’s like Br’er Rabbit”, but then I realized “rarity” worked better *g*)

THANK YOU for this! I can’t believe I won… of course, having close to 10% of the valid entries doesn’t help… I can’t believe I had that high a percentage LOL I’d’ve figured that several people would have more…

My cat was upset that her entry didn’t count, and expressed her displeasure by digging her claws into my side and then running off.

  6. Haha! Accidently featured when you were showing the comment box.

  7. Congratulations to the winner ๐Ÿ™‚ Great fun competition and Kevin’s prize will be in the post on Monday morning.

What do you think?
