What represents friendship to you? is it this?

Or this?

For me, it is this:

Halfling Commandos

The best part of DDO. Yes, I came here for the Dungeons & Dragons. But I stay because of the friendships and camaraderie.
Halfling Commandos

The Halfling Commandos are not what they once were. But we can still fill a party, and maybe even most of a raid group, especially on guild nights.
Halfling Commandos

We’ve had our “episodes” over the years. But so what, everyone does.
Halfling Commandos

Colwyn, Taea, Windwalkker, Witwin, Hanork, Samtumal, Zyinniah, Hammersniper, Pinkabelle, and of course Kitalea; these are my people, and I love them.

Many have moved on to other pursuits; the Pugster, Darkly, Lizy, Scarletwitch, Puddinpants, many others. Many, many others. I miss them all. And yet we carry on.

It’s not the game play
nor even the D&D
Friends are why I play

Well it might be a little bit because of the D&D. But mainly, people. Awesome people.

  1. πŸ™‚ I am sort of the same. Though I’ve extended my group to ppl on channels or anyone friendly. I usually put up an lfm and usually one or two of the ppl that join are ppl I know from before, or joined cause it was my lfm. A lot of ppl have left, but Osi recently came back. \o/

  2. Was gonna say – that is a VERY tall Halfling there in the middle. :p

    • Occasionally we bring along other races to act as babysitters. We need it. Put a group of Halfling Commandos in a room with puzzles and levers and it becomes chaos.

  3. I can tell you that it is the same for us. The first thing Gamer Child asks when we log on is if you and Gamer Girl are there. It would not be the same without our friends.

  4. Well put man πŸ™‚

  5. Ditto. I regularly play other games. DDO is the one I consistently return to, and it’s because of the excellent friendships created there.

  6. Everyone needs a little help from their friends πŸ™‚

  7. Now I feel lonely because I don’t really have anyone to play with. The few people I did left, so I try to find new people. Then I get critized for how I play, and realize that being solo is good for me until it’s impossible.

What do you think?
